On 20 December 2018, the Bulgarian Chevening Association organised a networking event in Sofia, Bulgaria for mentors and mentees participating in the Shapers of Tomorrow Mentoring Programme implemented under a CAPF2018 project.
More than 50 Bulgarian students studying in the UK, mentors from the Bulgarian Chevening Association, the British Bulgarian Business Association, representatives of the International Chambers of Commerce, and guests attended the meeting.

Ms Roumiana Atanassova, Head of the BCA, thanked Bulgarian Cheveners, the British Embassy and the British Council, as well as the British Bulgarian Business Association for their enthusiasm, which helped the programme reach 39 mentors and mentees teamworking together. Mr Tom Hines, Head of thePolitical Section at the British Embassy in Sofia, announced the approval of additional funding for the final event, which will allow for the participation of representatives of other regional Chevening associations.
